Jonathan Peng is senior solution architect in Alibaba Cloud, a global Cloud platform helping companies to transform and start the journey of data intelligence. Jonathan is actively helping many important industries, such as Transportation, Manufacturing and Internet to adopt ET Brain, which is Alibaba Cloud's ultra-intelligent AI Platform.

Edmund Lee has been a banker for 10 years then becoming an entrepreneur who found Apptech 7 years ago. In the past few years, he and his company has been working on solutions for Smart Cities especially in the A.I. computer vision field. He holds a B.B.A. Degree at The University of Iowa, USA and an Engineering Degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Jonathan has 13 years of industry experience in digital mapping and GIS. After graduating with degrees in Geography and Earth and Ocean Sciences, Jonathan had served in an industry-leader in navigational maps. After working as a map collector in Canada, he provided leadership in the optimization of transportation map databases for car navigation and pedestrian routing in China, Bangladesh, and South Korea. Before joining Esri, he founded a mobile map app startup. With his expertise in GIS analyses in use cases ranging from transport network validations to deforestation studies, he is GIS project design advisor with lots of creative ideas.

Thomas Cheung is Consulting Technical Specialist for IBM Cognitive Systems, leading the technical consulting and development efforts for IBM Power Systems in Hong Kong

In his current role, Thomas works across the different internal teams to explore and develop new innovative IT infrastructure for clients, and advises internal and external stakeholders in setting the technical and innovation agenda. Thomas is a subject matter expert in the areas of operating system, virtualization, system integration and cloud. He has introduced and implemented many leading-edge technologies in the region, including OpenStack, Hadoop and AI.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Alan comes from a background in computer science with a MSc in management. Prior to Motherapp, he held corporate sales, consulting and management positions in startup, telecommunication and digital technology sectors.

At Motherapp, Alan is responsible for the smart city division, overseeing advisory, sales, marketing, partnership and project implementation, as well as collaborating with government bodies and regulators to drive the smart city development in Hong Kong – including numerous award-winning smart city projects in both public and private sectors.

Calvin Wong, OT Systems’ co-founder and Director of Business Development, plays a significant role in the company. He has a dream in making the world different through technology. He started up OT Systems as a transmission device manufacturer in 2004. During the business, he keeps seeking ways to improve people’s life through technology.

Understanding the difficulty of traditional surveillance, Calvin grabbed the chance to develop IoTs Mobile Surveillance Solution with the team through AIoTs and big data in 2016. This big change makes a great contribution in building Hong Kong into a world class smart city while improving people’s life.

Jerrel Leung Chun Yip holds a PhD in Management Information Systems from CUHK and has extensive experience in designing IoT solutions. He is currently Chief Architect at ubiZense. Prior to that he has worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and he has taken upon several project management/business analyst positions at renowned international organizations. A recent project has received a grand and gold award at the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2019.

Vincent Hou is the senior manager, next Generation network Platform in ASTRI, focusing on 5G development and applications to drive 5G innovation.

Prior to joining ASTRI, he was the solution lead of a multiple national telecom company with over 10 years telecom-tier specialized system and solution related solution sales & consulting experience in multinational environment (in Europe, Asia and mainland China), and MBA from HKUST. Mr Hou has Strong knowledge and expertise in 4G, 5G, Terminals and IoT solutions. Strong cross domain knowledge, in Mobility, Internet of Things, Internet of Vehicle, blockchain & AI robotics.

Graduated from Applied Chemistry, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with more than 15 years of experience in IT industry, entrepreneurship, operation and marketing. Previous positions include Wisers Huike Co-founder (Greater China News Aggregation); Mobile365 Handheld Interactive China General Manager; Anyplex Co-founder; SMiT Vice President of Microtechnology B2C.

Simon Lee is the Assistant Vice President of IoT and Mobility Solutions Product Development at CSL Mobile Limited. In this role, he leads a team of mobility and IoT experts who help CSL to define the strategy of IoT development to transform Enterprise into digital organisation.

Prior to this, Simon has over 15+ experience in mobility industry on delivering ICT and IoT solutions for Enterprise customers in Digital Transformation. He experienced in Mobile Applications, Management, Pre-sales, Product Marketing, and Business Development. Strong sales professional with a Master focused in Information Technology Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney.

Dr. Xiao possess cross-learning and research experience in electronic engineering, vehicle engineering and robotics. He has more than 10 years of work and research experience on vehicle dynamics and automotive electronic control, automatic driving technology and robotics kinematics and dynamics control system. Currently, he is focusing on the research and development of intelligent connected autonomous vehicle.

Mr. Lo has been working in the ICT sector for more than 30 years, specialized in telecommunication and computer network industry, from design and development, project management and consultation. In 1997 Mr. Lo has established his first own company which focus on providing Internet and ICT solutions to the SMEs and primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. Mr. Lo start working on the GPS fleet management system and mobile application since 2007 for the transportation and logistics industry.

Mr. Leung had been engaged in Smart City Development, IT, Engineering and Automation, Education and Medical works over 20 years.

His experience covers innovation, strategic planning, business development, global partner engagements on innovation products such as Autonomous Solution, VR/AR, blockchain, machine learning, AI and Smart City enablement for Hong Kong, Macau, China, Singapore and Malaysia markets.
